Hillary Clinton Win in 2016 Could Cloud Foundation's Future

A Hillary Clinton victory in next year's presidential election would put the Clinton Foundation on an uncertain path, throwing up myriad questions about its management and fundraising, writes the Associated Press. Ms. Clinton left the charity's board when she began her 2016 campaign, but Bill and Chelsea Clinton remain in leadership roles, and people close to the foundation say there is no blueprint for their involvement should Ms. Clinton become president.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, those sources said the foundation, seeking to allay conflict-of-interest concerns under a prospective Clinton administration, is mulling putting Chelsea Clinton in charge of the charity, more vigorously vetting domestic contributions, and barring gifts from abroad. Some insiders want the foundation to make such changes public before Election Day.
