L.A.'s Museum of Contemporary Art Loses Another Curator

An associate curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art is jumping to another Los Angeles institution at the end of the month, leaving MOCA with just two curators, writes the Los Angeles Times.

Rebecca Morse, who has been at MOCA since 1998, will join the Los Angeles County Museum of Art as associate curator of photography on February 1.

MOCA had seven curators in early 2009, when it began a round of budget cuts and layoffs brought on by a financial crisis. A museum spokeswoman said there are "no plans right now" to replace Ms. Morse.
