Myechia Minter-Jordan will serve as the next CEO of the advocacy group for people over age 50.
A practicing physician, she was most recently president and CEO of the CareQuest Institute for Oral Health.
William Randolph Hearst Foundation and the Hearst Foundation
Donna Kalajian Lagani has been promoted to co-executive director of the two foundations with $1.1 billion in combined assets. After working at Hearst Magazines for 25 years, she came to the Hearst Foundations in 2019 and has been their vice president and eastern director since 2022.
Kalajian Lagani will serve alongside Paul (Dino) Dinovitz, who has led the grant makers since 2005.
Women Donors Network
Hillary Holley will join the advocacy group in January as managing director of politics and advocacy. She will also lead Women Donors Network Action, its 501(c)(4) affiliate.
Holley is currently vice president of civic engagement at the National Domestic Workers Alliance.

J. Richard Benderson, an outreach specialist and cooperative development representative at the Federation of Southern Cooperatives, is now CEO of the North Port St. Joe Community Development Corporation.
Rashi Jawade will be promoted from chief strategy officer to CEO of Embracing Equity on January 1. She will succeed Daisy Han, who founded the Austin, Tex., charity in 2017.
Allison Peters Quinn, director of exhibitions and residency programs at the Hyde Park Art Center, will begin as executive director and chief curator at the Elmhurst Art Museum on December 2. She will succeed John McKinnon, who departed in July to become director of the Haggerty Museum of Art at Marquette University.

Alexander Brown, vice president for advancement at Emory University, has been named vice president for the Fund for Johns Hopkins Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University.
Emily Byrd, a broker associate at the real-estate firm Compass, is now director of development at Kristi House, a children’s advocacy center in Miami.
Roger-Mark De Souza, vice president for sustainable markets at Pact, has been hired as vice president for the environment at the Pew Charitable Trusts.
Samantha Maltin is now chief marketing and brand officer at Alsac, the fundraising organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Most recently she was executive vice president and chief marketing and brand officer at Sesame Workshop. In addition, Ankur Jain has joined the group as its first chief data and analytics officer. Previously he was vice president and head of data science, analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning at Whole Foods.
Carla Mannings has been hired as vice president of lending and investment at the Housing Partnership Network and president of its CDFI lending enterprises. Most recently she was chief investment and impact officer at Partners for the Common Good.
Heather Martin has been hired as chief operating officer at Heading Home, which provides services for homeless families with children in Boston. Most recently she was vice president of operations at March of Dimes.
Jesse Meyer, senior director of major gifts and college campaign director at the University of Chicago, has been appointed vice president for advancement at Illinois Wesleyan University.
Beth Bolyn Thompson, assistant dean of development in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Harvard University, has been named vice president for development at Boston College.
Crystal Tsoi, deputy director of donor services and special projects at NEO Philanthropy, has been hired as deputy director at the Los Angeles Parks Foundation.
Departure
Jacqueline (Bouvier) Copeland, who founded Black Philanthropy Month in 2011, is stepping down as its leader.
Legacy
Judith Jamison, who served as the second artistic director of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater following the death of Alvin Ailey in 1989, died on November 9. She was 81. Jamison was originally a dancer who joined the company in 1965.
