A Chronicle study of giving among the 50 largest foundations finds that grants paid jumped 8.2 percent from 2013 to 2014. Search below for foundations by location, cause, and which ones accept unsolicited grant proposals.

The Chronicle’s annual study analyzed financial information for 70 of the wealthiest grant makers in the United States based on 2014 assets, using a combination of survey data and information that foundations report to the Internal Revenue Service. The biggest 50 were chosen for this report.
