$5 million to the Rochester Area Community Foundation to create a fund to support youth sports.
Cargill and Teys Australia
$2.75 million to Texas Tech University for programs in meat science. Cargill, an agricultural-services company, is giving $750,000 to establish an endowed professorship in sustainable meat science, and $2 million from meat producer Teys will support research on the topic.
HSBC
$1.5 million to help Horizons expand its summer education programs for low-income children.
