How Nonprofit Leaders and Others Responded to Jeff Bezos’s Request for Giving Advice

Select Tweets suggesting how one of the world’s richest individuals should use his fortune

By  Nidhi Singh
June 16, 2017

When Amazon founder Jeff Bezos asked for suggestions on how to steer his philanthropy, nonprofit leaders, official organizational accounts, journalists, and well-known online figures were quick to respond with their ideas.

Those suggestions included blanket pitches for causes, ideas about giving to specific organizations, and other calls for ways to improve the world outside donating directly to a nonprofit.

Below, see Mr. Bezos’s initial request for ideas and select responses.
