A close friend and political ally of Jeb Bush has established a nonprofit group The Washington Post says could be closely linked to, and raise unlimited donations for, the former Florida governor’s anticipated presidential campaign.
Right to Rise Policy Solutions shares the name of two political-action committees for which Mr. Bush has been raising money as he lays the groundwork for a White House run. The 501(c)(4) group was established in Arkansas in February by Bill Simon, a former Walmart chief executive who headed Florida’s Department of Management Services during Mr. Bush’s second gubernatorial term.
