New $3.2 Billion Health Foundation Names Executive Team (Transitions)

Mother Cabrini Health Foundation

Gregory Mustaciuolo, a Catholic priest who most recently served as vicar general and chancellor at the Archdiocese of New York, will now serve as the first CEO of this new foundation with $3.2 billion in assets. It was established from last year’s sale of Fidelis Care, a nonprofit health insurer operated by the Bishops of the Catholic Dioceses of New York, to the Centene Corporation for $3.8 billion in July.

Among the other new executives announced this week, Deborah Konopko, vice president at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, was named chief programs and grants officer.

Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America

Anne Tishkoff has been named director of Evolve Hadassah: The Young Women’s Network, a new department at the nonprofit group. Most recently, Tishkoff was director of the JNFuture, Lawyers and Doctors for Israel program at the Jewish National Fund. She will report to Janice Weinman, its executive director and CEO.

Urban Alliance

Sherri Davis Chisholm, founder and CEO of FreeSpace Consulting Group, has been named executive director of this national youth-development charity’s new regional office in Detroit.

Also, Julia Kent, strategic partnerships director at CARE, has been hired as chief development officer for Detroit.

More New CEOs

Rebecca Crowe, an education team fellow at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, will assume a new role as president and CEO of Clayton Early Learning on June 10. She succeeds Charlotte Brantley, who is stepping down on June 30 after 13 years of leading the organization.

Matthew Reilein, managing director of Cresset Partners, where he oversaw its community-development and opportunity-zone programs, has been tapped as president and CEO of the National Equity Fund. He succeeds Joseph Hagen, who is retiring after 19 years at the helm.

Other Notable Appointments

Berenice Bonilla Cortés has been appointed managing director of communications at the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights and its sister organization, the Leadership Conference Education Fund. She most recently led Bérica Agency, a branding and event-planning consultancy.

Orlando Esposito, executive vice president of PNC’s asset-management group, has now become chief financial officer at the Philadelphia Foundation, overseeing $500 million in assets.

Ellen Hwang has joined the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation as a program director for its Philadelphia programs. Previously she worked for the City of Philadelphia’s Office of Innovation and Technology as assistant director of strategic initiatives and director of its Smart City program.

Venus Phillips, head of public markets at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, has joined the Kresge Foundation as an investment director, helping to manage its $4 billion portfolio of long-term investment assets.
