The Wall Street Journal profiles Darren Walker a month before he starts his new job as president at the Ford Foundation.
Mr. Walker, who is 53 years old, will become the 10th president of the country’s second-largest foundation, with more than $11-billion in assets. Rather, his main priorities have included uplifting his Harlem neighborhood and working for social justice.
