One Hen and MidwayUSA Foundation Get New Executive Directors

One Hen

Matt Schatzle has been named executive director of the charity, which teaches children to become social entrepreneurs. Mr. Schatzle was executive director of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Foundation, where he helped create several programs to introduce youths to the science and technology fields. He also held top fundraising positions at the U.S. Naval Academy Foundation and the Ocean Conservancy.

American Society of the University of Haifa

Karen Berman, U.S. chief executive officer of YRF Darca, was appointed chief executive officer.

Association of Schools & Colleges of Optometry

Dawn Mancuso, former chief executive officer of Hydrocephalus Association, was named executive director.

Foundation Fighting Blindness

Valerie Navy-Daniels, former regional chief development officer of the American Red Cross of Massachusetts, will be chief development officer.

MidwayUSA Foundation

Randy Moeller, category manager for the gun library at Cabela’s, a retailer, was appointed executive director.

Reading & Math

Lindsay Dolce, former executive director of Serve Colorado and Colorado Reads, was named chief advancement officer.

Other Notable Changes

Francoise Aylmer, president of the Portland State University Foundation, and Kristin Coppola, executive vice president at the foundation, announced their resignations after a planned $100-million donation fell through.
