Elaine Gantz Wright is senior editor for products and lives in Dallas. Before joining the Chronicle, she worked in nonprofit and higher-education communications, fundraising, and training. Other career highlights include consulting and corporate roles in marketing, public relations, brand storytelling, content creation, social responsibility, and executive communications for technology, retail, and health care.
As a versatile writer and editor, she has crafted executive bylines, sponsored content, thought leadership, direct-response communications, speeches, and video scripts, as well as paid and organic social-media messaging. Elaine is the mother of two sons: Ian, an online game designer, and Elliot, whom she lost too soon in a tragic motorcycle accident. She is a published essayist and ghostwriter on navigating grief and healing from loss. Elaine holds an M.B.A./M.A. in arts administration from Southern Methodist University and a B.S. in speech from Northwestern University.
