Elaine Gantz Wright is senior editor for products and lives in Dallas. Before joining the Chronicle, she worked in nonprofit and higher-education communications, fundraising, and training. Elaine is the mother of two sons: Ian, an online game designer, and Elliot, whom she lost too soon in a tragic motorcycle accident. She is a published essayist and ghostwriter on navigating grief and healing from loss. Elaine holds an M.B.A./M.A. in arts administration from Southern Methodist University and a B.S. in speech from Northwestern University.
