
Emily Haynes is a senior reporter at the Chronicle of Philanthropy, where she covers nonprofit fundraising. Before coming to the Chronicle, Emily worked at WAMU 88.5, Washington’s NPR station. There she coordinated a podcast incubator program and edited for the hyperlocal news site DCist. She was previously assistant managing editor at the Center for American Progress.
Emily holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental analysis from Pitzer College in Claremont, Calif.
