Emily Haynes is senior editor of nonprofit intelligence at the Chronicle of Philanthropy, where she covers nonprofit fundraising. Before coming to the Chronicle, Emily worked at WAMU 88.5, Washington’s NPR station. There she coordinated a podcast incubator program and edited for the hyperlocal news site DCist. She was previously assistant managing editor at the Center for American Progress.
Emily holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental analysis from Pitzer College in Claremont, Calif.
