Sejal Desai is the executive director at Akanksha Education Fund. She served for more than six years with the American India Foundation’s Dallas Fort Worth Leadership Council. Her 30-year career includes work in sectors such as venture capital, mergers and acquisitions[MOU1] , accounting, entrepreneurship, nonprofit leadership, and corporate social responsibility. Before joining Akanksha, she worked at the Communities Foundation of Texas, where she led a strategic initiative focused on engaging businesses in the community. She is the co-chair of the Steering Committee of India Giving Day.
