Primary responsibility of this role is to provide stewardship coordination, create visibility strategies and serve as key logistics interface with Foundation Corporate Sponsor team.  Develop and execute annual and multi-year stewardship plans to top tier sponsors to elevate relationships.  The Sponsor Engagement Coordinator will work closely with the Events Management Staff, Marketing Communications, Brand Management and Sales team and directly with sponsors to ensure the successful execution of all established sponsorship plans.  She/He will maintain an accurate inventory of all current assets available for sponsorship. He/she will create and ensure the effective execution of each plan created by the Corporate Sponsor team.


Sponsor Deliverables and Engagement

  • Assist the Corporate Sponsor team with all aspects of stewardship management that results in an increase in renewals percentages and revenue growth of key sponsors.
  • Understanding of organization capabilities and services, and effectively communicate all offerings to the sponsor
  • Creating and managing project plans to manage assets including, but not limited to:
    • Website visibility accuracy
    • Convention visibility accuracy
    • Create personalized event engagement itinerary for sponsors
    • Manage publications and media inventory between sponsor/agency and internal key stakeholders
  • Manage inventory availability to assist the Corporate Sponsor team in the development of sponsorship, marketing, licensing, and co-venture proposals

Financial Tracking

  • Manage and monitor travel budget
  • Monitor stewardship activation budget

Account Management

  • Perform follow up communication after the gift agreement to execute and ensure fulfillment of corporate sponsor packages
  • Serve as primary point of contact between Corporate Sponsor team and internal activation stakeholders
  • Maintain CRM to ensure clean customer data for accurate communication
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all customers including: Associations, Sponsor, Exhibitors, Advertisers, Licensees and Vendors as well as internal staff

Miscellaneous Responsibilities

  • Working with convention registration, transportation and housing to ensure Exhibitor needs are communicated timely and accurately to all exhibitors leading up to the national convention & expo
  • Occasionally travel to various sponsor engagements
  • Serve as key player within stewardship, Foundation, FFA, and external stakeholders
  • Other duties as assigned


  • External candidate requirements:  Associates Degree with two years of sponsor/donor services, stewardship, fundraising, customer service or administration experience required
  • Internal candidate requirements: Three years FFA experience; including sponsor/donor services, stewardship, fundraising, customer service or administration experience required
