Bancroft, is a highly respected human services nonprofit organization in Cherry Hill, NJ -- dedicated to supporting persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism, and brain injuries. We are recruiting to fill a newly-created position for a Senior Director in our Development Department. Qualified candidates will have at least 5 years experience in fundraising, with documented success in raising major gifts. Experience supervising professional staff, and tracking and reporting with fundraising software is essential. A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
This is the number two position in the Development Team, responsible for developing strategies for major giving, annual fund, stewardship, finance and reporting functions of the Department. The SDD is responsible for generating philanthropic support, primarily from individuals, online and via direct mail, and ensuring excellent stewardship and reporting for all development programs. The SDD assists the CDO in building and overseeing revenue and expense budgets of the Development Department in order to achieve the long-term and short-term goals of the program and the organization. The SDD works as part of a six-member development team, with strong leadership skills directly supervising and developing the Director of Community and Donor Engagement and the Development Specialist.
