When seeking corporate support, consider how your nonprofit can support a company’s business goals. Before meeting with a potential partner, answer questions such as, What assets does our nonprofit have that a business partner may seek — for example, intellectual property, supporters with attractive demographics, events, employee-engagement opportunities, connections with other companies or stakeholders? New Grant Opportunities

Animal welfare. Petco Love (formerly Petco Foundation) supports animal welfare organizations that provide shelter and adoptions. The application deadline is July 31.
Economic mobility. New Profit seeks to provide $100,000 in unrestricted funds for 16 social-impact organizations that are building breakthrough solutions to advance economic mobility, with an emphasis on supporting Black, Indigenous, and Latinx leaders. Applicants must have an annual operating budget of $250,000 to $2 million, be led by a social entrepreneur, and have been in operation for at least two years. In addition to getting financial support, some recipients can take advantage of peer learning community, leadership coaching, consultations with external content experts, and more. The application deadline is June 26.
