The ice-bucket challenge, the viral fundraising craze from this summer, netted the ALS Association more than $107-million in donations and a database of 2.4-million donors.

But what's next for the organization, which raised $19.4-million in all of 2013? How does it plan to build on the momentum from this summer's online hit? How will it use the monetary windfall and get its new donors to give again?
