Gonzaga University has received the biggest donation in its history, $25-million to help build a new student center on the Spokane, Wash., campus, The Spokesman-Review writes.
Donor John J. Hemmingson, an entrepreneur and investor in education, insurance, and property, among other things, has been a trustee of the Catholic university for several years.
