A new hotel-booking site offers travelers discounts at selected inns if they donate at least $10 to charity for each night of their stay, writes The New York Times.
Kind Traveler launched earlier this month with a roster of 21 mostly boutique and style-focused hotels in 11 destinations in the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Users who donate through the site can get up to 25 percent off published lodging rates, which the Kind Traveler’s founders say are comparable to the prices at established travel sites such as Orbitz and Expedia.
